End User License Agreement
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and CTRL Colab LLC (“CTRL Colab,” “we,” “us”) for the Space Cowboy software application, including all associated components, updates, and documentation (“the Software”).
By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
Please read Section 5 carefully. Space Cowboy can permanently delete files. You are responsible for what you delete.
1 License grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, CTRL Colab grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, in accordance with the terms of the Microsoft Store and the applicable Microsoft Standard Application License Terms.
2 Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. CTRL Colab and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. No rights are granted to you other than as expressly set out in this Agreement.
3 Restrictions
You may not, except to the extent permitted by applicable law:
- copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, or attempt to derive its source code;
- rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Software;
- remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices; or
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent any license, security, or technical limitation in the Software.
4 The Software’s operation
The Software analyzes disk-space usage on your device and, at your direction, can move files to the Recycle Bin or permanently delete them. The Software runs locally and includes safeguards intended to reduce the risk of accidental data loss, such as blocking deletion of certain system locations and sending deletions to the Recycle Bin by default with a confirmation period.
5 Data loss; deletion; “as is” — IMPORTANT
You are solely responsible for selecting which files and folders to delete and for the consequences of those deletions. The Software’s safety features (including system-location protections and the Recycle Bin default) are provided as a convenience and do not guarantee against data loss, and you should not rely on them as your sole safeguard.
The Software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. CTRL Colab does not warrant that the Software will be error-free, that scan results will be accurate or complete, or that the Software will prevent any particular data loss.
You are strongly advised to maintain current backups of any important data before deleting files using the Software. CTRL Colab is not responsible for the loss, corruption, or unrecoverability of any data resulting from your use of the Software.
6 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will CTRL Colab be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CTRL Colab’s total cumulative liability arising out of or related to the Software and this Agreement will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Software (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case, such exclusions and limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7 Updates
CTRL Colab may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Software. This Agreement governs any such updates unless they are accompanied by a separate agreement, in which case that agreement controls.
8 Term and termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and remove all copies. Sections 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10 survive termination.
9 Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
10 Distribution via the Microsoft Store
The Software is obtained through the Microsoft Store and is also subject to Microsoft’s Standard Application License Terms. If there is a conflict between this Agreement and those terms with respect to your acquisition of the Software through the Store, Microsoft’s terms govern that subject matter; this Agreement otherwise governs your use of the Software.
11 Entire agreement; severability
This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and CTRL Colab regarding the Software and supersedes any prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
