Refund Policy
Fourteen days, any reason. There is no trial version of Audexi, because we would rather sell you the whole application at a fair price and let you decide with the real thing in front of you. This policy is what makes that fair.
What's covered
If you bought an Audexi licence directly from us and you want your money back, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to ask. You get the full $4.99 back.
Any reason is a good enough reason. It does not convert the files you hoped it would; it does not sound the way you wanted; you bought it and never opened it; you changed your mind. We will not ask you to justify the request.
How to request
Email hello@ctrlcolab.com from the address you bought with, or reply to your receipt. Say that you want a refund. That is the whole process.
If you no longer have access to the purchase address, tell us and we will find another way to match you to the order — we are not looking for a reason to say no.
We aim to action requests within two business days. Once we do, the money takes as long as your bank or card issuer takes, which is usually a few days and occasionally longer.
What happens to your licence
Your licence ends when the refund is issued, and your serial is revoked on our side the same day. It cannot be activated on any machine again, and each installed copy deactivates at its next licence check.
We will say plainly how this works, because pretending otherwise would be silly: that licence check runs roughly monthly, and only when the machine is online — Audexi fails open by design, because software that can lock out a paying customer over a network hiccup is worse than software that lets a refunded copy linger a few weeks. So a refunded copy stops at its next check-in rather than the instant the refund clears, and until then continuing to use Audexi is a breach of the licence agreement rather than something the software will stop you doing. We rely on your good faith, and in our experience that is well placed.
After the window
Past 14 days we are not obliged to refund, but we will still read your email. If something is genuinely wrong — the application will not run on a system we said it supports, or it is broken in a way we cannot fix for you — tell us and we will sort it out. Discretion is not the same as a policy, so we are not promising a refund here; we are promising to take it seriously.
Duplicate and accidental purchases
If you bought Audexi twice, or bought it for a machine you have since discovered runs something else, we will refund the extra purchase whether or not the 14 days have passed. That is not a concession, it is just correcting a mistake.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the consumer law of your own country. If your local law gives you a longer cancellation period or a stronger remedy than this page does, your law wins and we will honour it. We sell worldwide from the United States, so this matters — buyers in the UK, EU, Australia and elsewhere have protections we cannot contract our way out of, and we are not trying to.
Who you are buying from
Audexi is sold directly by CTRL Colab LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company. We write these terms and we honour them ourselves — there is no store in between whose policy overrides this one.
Payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record — see their buyer terms., who handles checkout, receipts and tax. If they appear on your bank statement rather than our name, that is why. Your refund still comes from us, on these terms.
Fair use of this policy
This is written to be generous because almost everyone is straightforward. If someone repeatedly buys and refunds, or refunds and keeps using the software, we may decline a further request and decline to sell to them again. That is the only circumstance in which we would say no inside the 14 days.
